Way marked walking trails lead to 7,500 foot peaks and spectacular views to behold, and of course lakes hosting a bountiful population of wild brown and rainbow trout. The fishable waters are exceptionally diverse, ranging from small mountain lakes and streams to fast-flowing rivers. The department of the Ariege is one of the best areas in France and Europe for trout fishing with over 130 mountain lakes and 2,000 kilometers of first class waters.

You will have the opportunity to fish a choice of lakes, rivers and small feeder streams throughout the area. During your stay with us we will take you on an unforgettable two-day mountain fly fishing trip high in the Pyrenees. We provide you with the transport, tackle, permits and professional guides to give advice and help get you the very best from the region and its waters. To complete the experience, you will hike to a rustic mountain refuge and stay overnight, allowing easy early morning fishing and maximizing your time in the pristine mountain scenery. A third day will be spent fly-fishing from the banks of the area's most pristine streams and rivers.
