Montfaucon offers one-week language and cultural immersion tours for groups of 8 to 10 guests. You will live, play and perfect your French while exploring the countryside,shopping in the local stores, learning the history or sipping a café au lait in the town square. Over the years we've become a part of the local community here in Limoux. Our friends here go out of there way to open their hearts and homes to welcome our guests allowing you to see the true charm of rural French life. Everyone here is happy to listen and help you learn French and a few folks may even try to practice their English on you! We'll provide a French teacher, or you can bring your own. There will be some daily classroom activity in our studio, but it won't limit your fun and enjoyment of the vacation. Our French teacher, Christina Kauk, has enthusiastically and passionately taught the French language and culture to students of all ages and levels for over thirty years. Currently, she teaches at the college level and coaches professionals in conversational French. Engage in her daily lessons as you experience the food, culture, people and places of southern France's Languedoc region. As an American who has lived and worked for years in France, Christina will teach you to explore the cultural differences and see the country from a unique perspective.
